Osborn370 began its life as the headquarters for Ecolab, the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services. Ecolab was founded through innovation in 1923. Merrit J. Osborn called his new company Economics Laboratory, reflecting its mission to save customers time, labor and money with ECOnomic solutions developed through LABoratory research. Ecolab continues to thrive in its new headquarters in downtown Saint Paul. Its former home continues to serve as a laboratory for innovation.
